Catherine Bereson has been a personal chef since 2002 and has extensive experience in event planning and production. She grew up near New Orleans and lived in Texas for 10 years before moving to Baltimore in 1994.
Catherine has hosted cooking segments on WBAL-TV's weekend newscasts and was a featured columnist in the Baltimore Business Journal. She also participates as a food vendor at A Chocolate Affair www.chocolateaffair.org to benefit Health Care for the Homeless where she won the award for 'Overall Tastiest Chocolate Treat' in 2006.
Catherine encourages the use of organic, seasonal, and locally produced food products, and enjoys growing her own organic fruit, vegetable and herb garden in the warmer months.
She lives in Owings Mills with her husband Michael, 1 cat and 3 dogs and is an advocate for the humane treatment of all animals.
